HISTORIC MAIN HOUSE — FIRST FLOOR
The first floor of the main house includes an array of rooms to accommodate your event needs. The Boulder Dining Room provides a formal meeting space, the library is perfect for more casual networking and the music room includes a fully restored grand piano, perfect for entertaining.
Hard Gallery, capacity 25*
A sunny, flexible space the Hard Gallery features a pink marble fireplace with art deco screen. This room is home to our rotating student and alumni art collection as well as themed house exhibits.
Boulder Dining Room, capacity 30*
A large boardroom table sits in this elegant room under an original chandelier and a picture window with stained glass trim fills the room with light. The tiled fireplace and built in cabinets add to the charm.
Ader Grand Hall, capacity 50*
Be transported back in time as you walk through the front door of the main house into the grand hall. Wood paneling, coffered ceilings and intricate floral carvings draw the eye to the impressive main redstone fireplace.
Perkin Music Room, capacity 15*
A restored 1926 Mason & Hamlin baby grand piano is framed by a wide bay window with westerly views. Comfortable seating surrounds an English tiled fireplace and glass front music cabinet.
Newton Library, capacity 20*
Relax with friends and clients in this warm and inviting room. Impressive built-in bookshelves line the walls and showcase the rich history of UVM and many books written by alumni.
HISTORIC MAIN HOUSE — SECOND FLOOR
A grand stairwell takes you to the house's second floor. Our two event rooms on this floor are located on the west side of the house and include sweeping views of Lake Champlain with a balcony off of the Alumni Lounge.
Hurd Parlor, capacity 25*
Bay windows with sweeping views, cozy armchairs and pub-style seating lend this room a comfortable tone perfect for meetings or social gatherings.
Alumni Lounge, capacity 25*
A white marble bar and large HD television give this room a pub-like feel. The porch offers additional space and beautiful views.
SILVER PAVILION
The Silver Pavilion is a modern addition to the historic main house. Our most spacious option, with tall ceilings and natural light, this ballroom space can accommodate weddings, large receptions, workshops, and lectures.
Davis Ballroom, capacity 220*
The 40 X 60 foot ballroom has a vaulted ceiling, large wooden beams and skylights. This light-filled room includes a two sided gas fireplace and a nine-panel LCD presentation screen.
Internal walls pull out to create three separate salons as needed (see individual capacities below).
